When I last left you, we were heading up to bed wondering what elfcapades would occur in the night time. Well, it seems the Elves have been making friends. They had got all the animals from the animal box and decided to have an animal parade. We all thought it was very funny when we came into the living room to find a long line of animals with the Elves heading the front!
After a lovely breakfast we decided to take Pete the Pixie and Eric the Elf shopping with us. They rode in the car inside Louie's seat belt just to be safe and as we went round the shop Louie held tightly to Peter while Daisy chewed on Eric's hat! They helped us round the shop and kept trying to put sweets and candy inside... the cheeky little things.
After dinner the Elves seemed to have disappeared for a little bit. We wondered where they had gone but assumed it would be too far away, maybe they were doing important Father Christmas work?! At bath time, we went to brush our teeth only to find that our toothbrushes have been wrapped up in Christmas paper!! It seems The Elves had an overpowering urge to wrap something up :/
We had a relaxing evening and headed up to bed. In the morning we woke to a busy little scene. Pete and Eric were in the middle of writing their Christmas cards out. They had put stamps on them and we assumed they wanted us to take them down the post box for us... we did this as quick as we could, so that all their elfling friends would know that they were thinking of them.
When Louie came back from nursery he returned to Pete the Pixie and Eric the Elf ensconced on a cushion with a big bowl of popcorn watching a Christmas DVD! It was Mickey’s Twice upon a Christmas, which we had never seen before and so we all settled down for a viewing. It was lovely and got us all in the spirit of things.
Since then... all had been a little quiet on the Elf front. But today... I noticed they were sitting in the living room with a very empty looking tin of Roses at their feet.
They really are very cheeky!
Come back soon to find out just how cheeky they can be, in the run up to Christmas.
