Pete and Eric update!

The Elves have had an interesting few days and have advised me that I must update the blog or I shall be going straight on the naughty list!!

When I last left you, we were heading up to bed wondering what elfcapades would occur in the night time. Well, it seems the Elves have been making friends. They had got all the animals from the animal box and decided to have an animal parade. We all thought it was very funny when we came into the living room to find a long line of animals with the Elves heading the front!

After a lovely breakfast we decided to take Pete the Pixie and Eric the Elf shopping with us. They rode in the car inside Louie's seat belt just to be safe and as we went round the shop Louie held tightly to Peter while Daisy chewed on Eric's hat! They helped us round the shop and kept trying to put sweets and candy inside... the cheeky little things.

After dinner the Elves seemed to have disappeared for a little bit. We wondered where they had gone but assumed it would be too far away, maybe they were doing important Father Christmas work?! At bath time, we went to brush our teeth only to find that our toothbrushes have been wrapped up in Christmas paper!! It seems The Elves had an overpowering urge to wrap something up :/

We had a relaxing evening and headed up to bed. In the morning we woke to a busy little scene. Pete and Eric were in the middle of writing their Christmas cards out. They had put stamps on them and we assumed they wanted us to take them down the post box for us... we did this as quick as we could, so that all their elfling friends would know that they were thinking of them.

When Louie came back from nursery he returned to Pete the Pixie and Eric the Elf ensconced on a cushion with a big bowl of popcorn watching a Christmas DVD! It was Mickey’s Twice upon a Christmas, which we had never seen before and so we all settled down for a viewing. It was lovely and got us all in the spirit of things.

Since then... all had been a little quiet on the Elf front. But today... I noticed they were sitting in the living room with a very empty looking tin of Roses at their feet.

They really are very cheeky!

Come back soon to find out just how cheeky they can be, in the run up to Christmas.

Pete and Eric update!

Hi All! Well, we have had a very busy couple of days in our household and everything has all been VERY Christmassy which the Elves aprove of grately!

Yesterday morning we all got up early  because a special day had finally arrived! It was time for us to go and meet Father Christmas in London. The Elves had been busy in the night and had surprised us all by putting up the Christmas decorations. The living room looked magical and they did a really good job.

We left them having a snooze (as they had been up all night turning our living room into a grotto!) and we headed off to London. After a fantastic afternoon we returned to find the elves in the middle of a board game.... it seemed Eric was winning!

After dinner and a bedtime bath we headed off to bed and said goodnight to the Elves. They weren't ready for sleep yet so we left them cuddled up next to the radiator - it seems that they cant get enough of the warm heat, being from the North Pole and all.

In the morning we couldnt find the elve's anywhere?! We searched high and low... eventually we found them in the kitchen surrounded by empty bowls and chocolate covered wooden spoons. They had been making Elf Truffles! YUMMY!!!

When we came back from a day out we discovered them in the bathroom, wrapped in a towel with bubbles on their noses. It seems they had taken it upon themselves to have a bath.

We read them a bedtime story and have decided to head up to bed. Come back tomorrow to find out what elfcapades have occured in the nght time!

Welcome to our Blog!

Let me tell you a little bit about us. We are a family living in a village called Denton... somewhere in between Eastbourne and Brighton.

This morning we woke up to a letter that had been left by Father Christmas! It was a secret letter which told us that we should keep an eye out for a couple of Elves who would be coming to stay with us until Christmas Eve. If we were good, they could put us straight on the nice list! It was a secret letter that could only be read through the mirror. We all got VERY excited and kept an eye out for the Elves.

Later that day we heard a knock at the door? Who could that be? There sitting in the porch were two lovely little Elves with their passports in hand. By reading the passports we discovered their names were Pete the Pixie and Eric the Elf. They were 150 years old! They came from the North Pole and we quickly placed them by te radiator to warm up their little toes.

Now they have arrived I wonder what mischeif they will be getting up to?
